The Department of Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) is seeking to fill three (03) full-time tenure-track positions through a Cluster Hiring initiative. We are looking for motivated and scientifically driven candidates who are eager to pursue impactful and high-quality research.
Established over 50 years ago, PUCP’s Engineering Department offers several programs accredited by the U.S.-based Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The department brings together a dynamic group of internationally connected researchers and provides modern infrastructure that fosters a strong and supportive environment for advanced scientific research.

The Department of Engineering at PUCP is looking for faculty members who can promote cross-disciplinary collaboration, secure international research funding, and contribute meaningfully to the academic community. These individuals will help strengthen both undergraduate and graduate education by addressing key academic and scientific challenges in the following interdisciplinary focus areas:
The available positions are full-time and require a 40-hour work week. Faculty members will be responsible for teaching approximately 5 hours per week per semester at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. At least 50% of their time must be devoted to research activities. Appointments are set to begin in the first academic semester of 2026 (2026-1) and will initially last for three years. Subject to satisfactory performance, these roles may be converted into permanent positions.
